Cub Scouting is a fun, hands-on program designed for boys and girls from Kindergarten through 5th grade. We bring families together to build character, make lifelong friends, explore the outdoors, and discover new skills in a supportive, safe environment.
Whether it’s launching water rockets, building Pinewood Derby cars, learning outdoor safety, or serving our local community, Pack 157 is all about active learning and screen-free adventure.
Scouting has a purpose: to help reinforce the positive values you want your child to develop.
Character & Integrity: Through age-appropriate challenges and the Scout Oath and Law, youth learn leadership, honesty, responsibility, and respect for others.
Family Engagement: Cub Scouting is designed for the whole family! Parents and guardians participate alongside their Scouts, creating lasting memories together.
Outdoor Exploration: From local nature hikes and campouts to learning basic wilderness skills, Scouts develop a confidence and appreciation for the outdoors.
Community & Citizenship: Our Pack regularly takes part in service projects, teaching kids the value of giving back and being a helpful neighbor.
Our Pack is made up of smaller groups called Dens, organized by grade level (Kindergarten Lions up to 5th-Grade Arrow of Light).
Den Meetings: Smaller, grade-specific groups meet once a month to work on fun skills, crafts, and adventure rank requirements.
Pack Meetings: Once a month, all Dens gather together for a high-energy Pack meeting to celebrate accomplishments, award badges, play games, and share big news.
Outings & Events: Year-round activities including family campouts, bike rides, community service projects, and our annual Pinewood Derby!
We welcome new families year-round! You don't have to wait for the school year to start to jump in.
